OBAMA'S ARROGANT ANTI-ISRAEL STAND - DANGEROUS FOR AMERICA

The
world is awash in terror which is undoubtedly why the U.S. called for a
Global Counterterrorism Forum this past week, with 29 nations attending
in Spain. The problem with it was that Israel, the country that knows the most about combating terrorism, and has been victimized by it since time immemorial, was excluded from the Forum with the Obama administration's approval.
Americans and the global community will pay for this snub to Israel by
being unprepared when terrorism strikes at their doorway. To whom then
will they call for help?
Will it be Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Mursi who will rush to America's defense if needed? This is the
Mursi who called for the release of Sheik OmarAbdel-Rahman
(the Blind Sheik) in his unofficial inauguration ceremony in Tahrir Square in Cairo,
Egypt. This is the Rahman who masterminded the 1993 World Trade Center
bombing, who murdered Rabbi Meir Kahane, who was the leader of the group
who assassinated Egypt's Anwar Sadat in 1981, and plotted the
assassination of Hosni Mubarak. He has also been behind countless
terrorist plots against critical American infrastructure. His fatwa
calling for jihad against the U.S. was cited as the religious
justification for the 9/11 attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon. This is
the man that Mohamed Mursi promises to get released from a U.S. prison.

Mursi is the man greeted at the White House, presenting the request for
Rahman's release. Why was this request heard when ongoing pleas for the
release of Jonathan Pollard fall on deaf ears? While Israel's
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gets treated dismissively by Obama,
other Islamic terrorist organizations, like CAIR (Council on American
Islamic Relations) get the red carpet treatment from the White House and
the State Department.
Capping it all off is the unacceptable action of the Obama administration in its failure to accept Israeli sovereignty. Following the report by a commission
appointed by Prime Minister Netanyahu, led by former distinguished Supreme Court
Justice Edmund Levy, which states that Judea and Samaria (the West Bank)
are not "occupied territories," and from the "perspective of
international law, establishing communities in Judea and Samaria is not
illegal," we have the Obama administration announcing its opposition to
the report. Obama's spokesman announced, "We do not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity, and we oppose all settlement outposts."
What audacity! What insufferable arrogance and ignorance. Israel has
every right to determine its policies. How dare the U.S. proclaim its
opposition?!
Americans
have the right to demand that the Obama administration explain its
dangerous behavior of embracing America's enemies and abjuring its
allies.
